A maternity photoshoot is a great way to highlight and celebrate how beautiful pregnancy can be. The right photographer can help you bring your dream photo shoot to life.
For my maternity photoshoot, I wanted greenery, trees and nature to be my backdrop. I honestly had no other details in mind. I used Instagram hashtags to search photographers in the Atlanta area and came across Kelsey Freeman Photography. All of her photos are so dreamy and whimsical. She immediately gained a new customer!
Kelsey recommended a few locations based on my vision but I ultimately settled on The Castle at Wildwood Gardens. Kelsey provided two of the dresses pictured. I purchased the white, mermaid-style dress and flower crown from Amazon. Kelsey also recommended that I wear nude undergarments for the shoot, so I purchased a great strapless bra and under bump underwear from Amazon as well.
Depending on your shoot location and time of the year, I would recommend having a small, hand held fan because when you’re big, pregnant and moving around for an hour, it gets hot! All items are linked.
I was about 28 weeks pregnant here which I initially felt was a bit too early to be taking pictures, however, I’m glad I didn’t wait until I was extremely uncomfortable to do the maternity photoshoot. My experience with Kelsey was amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone!
